The LULAC IL Education Council 5238 (LULAC IL 5238) was founded in 2002 by Caroline Sanchez Crozier, who has a long-standing passion and track record for advocacy on equity and representation of Latinos at all leadership levels.
The mission of LULAC IL 5238 is to advocate for education equity to elevate the lives of Latinos in Illinois. The council members are education experts and advocates who volunteer on critical initiatives that impact Latinos, focusing on education equity as a civil rights issue.
